Every day Lord I am convicted of my guilt; I dare not even start to pray because of my backsliding. Oh Lord heal me of my backsliding. When I do eventually pray they are empty; from a heart of stone. My praises have no conviction and they are empty.
The best I can give is failure.

Blessed Jesus let me renew my commitment in your sacrificial blood.
My sins continually rise up before you; however your grace soars above them. Though my sins convict me to hell
your sacrifice for me saves me to your throne.
Everything I am is filth,
but with your love I am clean and pure.

In accepting your boundless grace, let me also extend this grace to everyone I meet.

Let me know that by your stripes I am healed!
You suffered for my misdeeds, you Lord Jesus became sin for me so I might become clean in you. That Lord all I have done, whatever I have done, is forgiven in a sea of love that you offer to me.

Lord I will meditate on the teachings I have heard. I know that only through you Lord Jesus is found salvation. You became human for the atonement of sin. Let me remember the price that was paid for my salvation, a price I will never be able to fully comprehend.

Now I am able to approach the throne of grace with confidence. Let me not be content to remain immature in my faith, but to strive to become mature in my faith. Because of you I have my salivation, because of you I have a great hope and in that hope I have great joy!

There is no other salivation except through you alone. Let me not throw away the confidence I have. Allow me Lord not just to pray for small things but with a holy boldness to pray for great things.

Father thank you for the grace and peace that comes from trust in you alone.  Thank you for bringing me out of darkness and despair.  Thank you for forgiving my disobedience and for granting me salvation. 

Lord in my past I did not know you, I lived a life separated from you.  Now I have a great hope through Jesus Christ and have devoted my self into his service.  I am a convert dedicated to share the good news of your redemption to anyone who will hear.

Lord strengthen my faith, allowing me to discern hollow teaching and reject bad influences.  I will discard traditions and worldly things that keep me from you.

Once I gave way to every lust, I lied and cheated without regret but that has passed away and now I live in Christ who has forgiven me my past.  My confidence is in now in Jesus Christ, no longer do I desire worldly things but in prayer I pursue spiritual truths. 

I reject and fight against such things as sexual corruption and lusts and greed for possessions which is equal to idolatry. These things I thrust aside as past pursuits that now no longer have a hold upon me. 

I pray to you to put an end to anger, rage, malice, lies, slander, gossip and filthy language from my lips.  Let me rather develop compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and endurance. 

Allow the peace of Christ Jesus to rule my life and to be thankful in all things.  Let me sing songs of praise with thankful heart.  Every word and deed in my life from now on is to be in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, giving thanks to God.

I pray Lord God for the gospel of Christ to be preached and accepted throughout the world.  Towards unbelievers may I be wise and to make the most of every opportunity to glorify your name.  May your wisdom guide me to have an answer for any whom ask about you.

Lord may I know your will for my life.  Grant me health and strength to complete the work you set for me.  May I glorify you in everything I say and do.
